It’s time for a proper dram on The Swally this week as we discuss the 2012 Ken Loach film ‘The Angels’ Share’.
Written by Paul Laverty and starring Paul Brannigan, John Henshaw and Roger Allam, the film follows dad to be Robbie, after he narrowly avoids jail, he vows to turn over a new leaf. A visit to a whisky distillery inspires him and his mates to seek a way out of their hopeless lives.
We also find out about one father’s disappointment on his trip to Loch Ness, a porn star banned from The Louden Tavern, discuss a wedding with a goat as the only guest and ponder a Dairy powered DeLorean in Dalkeith.
